HARANA, named after the Filipino tradition of serenading, is an Australian-Filipino singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, originally from Darwin and now based in Newcastle, NSW.
Blending soul, pop and R&B, HARANA creates feel-good music rooted in genuine emotion and rich musicality. Growing up surrounded by gospel music, she developed a deep connection to powerful vocals, harmony, and expressive performance — inspired also by Filipino classic love ballads, her songs explore themes of deep love, longing, and the courage to be vulnerable.
She made her solo debut in January 2026 with the release of her first single Truth Is, alongside a headline show at The Hamilton Station that instantly captivated the audience. HARANA is quickly establishing herself as an exciting new voice in the Australian music scene.
